CUMMINGS, Evelyn R. -- Age 97, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Thurston Woods Village. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday September 30 at Flint First Wesleyan Church, 3825 Davison Rd, Flint. Visitation will be held 11 AM until time of the service at the church on Tuesday. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Flint First Wesleyan Church. Evelyn was born October 27, 1916, the daughter of Peter F. and Margaret Jager. She graduated from Flint Central High School. October 27, 1940. She married Donald L. Cummings.Evelyn is survived by her daughter Sherry Hulliberger of Vicksburg, two sons, Gerald P. (Eileen) Cummings of Munising and Jerrold D. (Gerilyn) Cummings of Lennon; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one sister, Helen Van Amburg of Grand Blanc, several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by husband Donald L.
