Evelyn Leona Mello

MELLO, Evelyn Leona - Age 82, of Davison formerly of Flint, died Friday, August 13, 2010 at Suncrest Nursing Home, Lapeer. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, August 16, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, burial immediately following at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM Monday until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contribtutions to the Evelyn L. Mello Memorial Fund. Mrs. Mello was born February 8, 1928 in Linden, the daughter of Glenwood and Pauline (Ripley) Wilson. She married Manuel Mello and he preceded her in death May 23, 1977. Evelyn retired from Sieferts Cleaners after 20 years of service. Surviving are: 3 children; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
