Evelyn C. (nee Schmald) Burdgick

Evelyn C Burdgick (nee Schmald), age 93, of Grand Blanc, Michigan, passed away on April 23, 2024. 

Evelyn was born April 1, 1931 in Flint, Michigan. She attended Flint Central High School where she had the nickname “Chucky”. Evelyn graduated from Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) with a secretarial science degree.  

Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Richard (Dick) Burdgick and her parents Eugene and Charlotte Schmald.  

Evelyn is survived by her children Jeff, Jim, Bruce and Jill (Burdgick) Anderson, grandchildren Raymond, Kevin and Kelly Anderson, Jade (Burdgick) Tuck, and Anthony Moreau, great grandchildren, as well her brother Gordon Schmald, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  

Evelyn enjoyed playing bridge and until recently did a Jane Fonda senior workout daily.  

At Evelyn’s request there will be no service.
