Everett "Bo" Wayne BROWN

BROWN, Everett "Bo" Wayne - age 79, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Homewood Village. Services will be held 11:30 AM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Deane Oliva officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 4-9 PM Thursday and 10:30 until service Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Michigan, Help Hospitalized Veterans or a local children's charity. Mr. Brown was born June 27, 1934 in Gagetown, MI, the son of Clarence Victor and Nellie Belle (Sheldon) Brown. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. Mr. Brown married Laverne Marie Willis on January 25, 1958 and she preceded him in death on April 26, 1990. He retired from General Motors in Skilled Trades after 38 1/2 years of service. Surviving are: three children, Patricia Rose (Claude) Forgt of ND, Wayne Victor Brown of Swartz Creek, Allen Brown and fiance, Debra Savoie (Bo's daughter-in-law) of Flint Twp; four grandchildren; four sisters; one brother and many nieces and nephews also survive.
