Everett A. PIERSON

PIERSON, Everett A. - age 82 of Mt. Morris, Formerly of Fenton, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, with Pastor Gregg Spilker and Roy McDaniel officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Everett was born September 6, 1930 in Flint, the son of Erwin and Gladys (Collick) Pierson. He married Phyllis JoAnne Harris on October 28, 1950 in Flint and she preceded him in death on October 27, 1995. Everett worked as an Inspector for Buick Motors, retiring in 1995 after 45 years of service. He is survived by 3 children, Michael (Yang Sun) Pierson of Riverview, FL, Laurie (Roy) McDaniel of Panama City, FL, Andrea (Gregg) Spilker of Christianna, TN, and son-in-law John Van Doren of Raleigh, NC; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter Susan Van Doren; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Mary Pierson and grandson Kevin Spilker.
