Faith Joan May

Faith Joan May - Age 80, passed away November 7, 2025. Funeral services will be held 12PM Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. A committal service will be held 12:30PM Friday, November 21, 2025 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. Visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. 

Faith was born May 27, 1945 in Flint, the daughter of the late Robert Nathan and Eathel (Sharp) Prime. She married Bennie May on September 26, 1965 in Flint. Faith retired from Westwood Heights School after 20 years of service. A caregiver by nature, she was a loving, humble woman who kept her family as the center of her life. She loved to cook, go to church and enjoyed praise and worship music. 

Faith is survived by her sons, Neil (Tonya) May, Bennie May II, Ed (Linda) Lawrence; grandchildren, Sarah (Scott) Quaal, Kyle (Brooke) May, Neil (Melissa) May, Brianna May; great-grandchildren, Chloe Davis-May, Evan May, Hazel May, Carsyn May, Scarlett Quaal and Skylar Quaal. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie May on December 6, 2015; sisters, Velma Harris and Doreen Prime; brothers, Marvin "Dean" Prime and Nathan Junior Prime.
