Florence Elizabeth Graham

GRAHAM, Florence Elizabeth -- Age 98, of Urbana, OH, formerly of Flint, died Sunday, May 27, 2007 at the Wellington Nursing Home in Urbana, OH. Funeral Services will be 1:30 PM Thursday, May 31 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Dr. John L. Musgrave officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be from 1 PM until the time of the funeral Thursday. Florence was born December 6, 1908 in Haynes Township, MI, the daughter of Foster and Florence Elizabeth (Webb) Shaw. She was a graduate of Harrisville High School and County Normal School for Teachers in East Tawas. She was married to Frank T. Graham on June 15, 1929 in Bowling Green, OH; he preceded her in death in August of 1957. Mrs. Graham retired from A.C. in 1972 with 18 years of service. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Flint and active in the P.T.A. She had resided in Urbana, OH, since 1992 coming from Flint. Surviving are: two daughters, Evelyn P. Kring of Flint, Janet K. and husband Alan Hains of Urbana, OH; daughter-in-law, Catherine Graham of Battle Creek; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank in 1957; brother, Ralph Shaw in 1986; and son Gary in 2005. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
