France Kister

KISTER, France A. - age 84, of Swartz Creek, passed away Tuesday June 22, 2021 at her son's residence in Grand Blanc.  Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM Sunday June 27, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  Visitation will be held 12-3 PM Sunday.  France was born on July 11, 1936 in Flint, the daughter of Adolph and Beatrice (Monville) Marshall.  She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Flint.  France married Donald E. Kister on December 27, 1958 in Flint.  She was a manager at Little Joe's Tavern, Grand Blanc.  France enjoyed playing bingo and painting, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Surviving are: children, Don (Sally) Kister, Jr., Stephanie (Jeff) Chandler, Darryl (Julia) Kister, David Kister, Randy (Nancy) Kister; son in law, John Surgener; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Robert Marshall, sister, Martha Burton; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Donald; daughters, Vawn, Alana, Kim; granddaughter, Heather; grandson, Nicholas; brother, John; and sisters, Betty Davis and Pat Belchek.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
