Frances Deleon

DeLeon, Frances Kay- Age 67, of Flint, died June 21, 2017. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Monday June 26, at Richfield Church of the Nazarene, 7524 E. Mt. Morris Rd., Otisville. Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Pastor Alan Duce officiating. Visitation will take place 1-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek; and 11 AM until the time of service Monday at the church. Frances was born July 25, 1949 in Welch, West Virginia, the daughter of Joseph Samuel Mikels and Hester (Lawless) Mikels. She married Reynaldo DeLeon on August 28, 1965. Frances worked for Meijer and retired after 22 years of service. She then worked at Soaring Eagle Casino for 11 years. She loved the casinos, fishing, big family cookouts, and most of all spoiling her grandkids. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Reynaldo; children, Michael Ray DeLeon (Heather Johnson), Eric John (Rebecca) DeLeon, Melissa (Scott) Cregar, Jason Matthew (Jennifer) DeLeon, Gabriel Ryan DeLeon; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Joseph Mikels, Brenda Carrasco, Jeannie Haynack, Mark Mikels, Danny Mikels; several nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Samuel Mikels, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cruz and Nolberta DeLeon.
