EICHORN, Frances G. - Age 92, of Flint Township, died January 15, 2013 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, January 18 at Mayfair Bible Church, 5339 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing, Pastor Jerry Beach and Pastor Dean Stewart officiating. Interment 12 Noon Tuesday, January 22 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to Mayfair Bible Church or charity of choice. Frances was born March 31, 1920 in Birch Run the daughter of Ernest and Gertrude (Smith) Magnus. She was a 1939 graduate of Clio High School. She was married to Harold A. Eichorn on December 27, 1947; he preceded her in death October 19, 2012. She had owned and operated a beauty shop in Clio for many years, and then went to work at AC Spark Plug retiring in 1980 with 30 years of service. She was a past member of the West Court Street Church of God for 70 years, and was now a member of the Mayfair Bible Church. Surviving are: children Richard (Marcia) Whaley of Byron, Patricia (William) Perkins of Kalamazoo, Harold (Joyce) Eichorn of Flushing, Robert (Peggy) Eichorn of Flint; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Howard Magnus of Clio, Robert (Yvonne) Magnus of Indian River; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; four brothers, Frank, Clare, Ernest, and Kenneth Magnus; and sister Lillian Cedar.
