Thornberry, Frances Elizabeth, age 91, of Flint, died Saturday May 4, 2013. A funeral service will be held 5:00pm Friday, May 10, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held 4:00pm - 8:00pm Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association. Frances was born September 3, 1921 in Flint, the daughter of the late Glen and Florence (Kelly) Hand. She married Daniel L. Thornberry in Flint, he preceded her in death January 26, 1963. Frances enjoyed crossword puzzles and looking at photo albums. She loved spending time with her grandsons and her pet dog Hootch. Mrs. Thornberry retired from AC Spark Plug with 37 years of service. Surviving are: Son, Danny (Kimberly) Thornberry of Flint; grandsons, Daniel Thornberry of Flint, Eric Thornberry of Grand Blanc and great granddaughter Carmella .
