Francis "Frank" Edwin Crites

Francis "Frank" Edwin Crites has peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at his home in Flint, Ml at the age of 80.

Frank was born March 3, 1945 in Lawrenceville, IL to Nobel and Mary Ellen Crites. Frank was a retired GM skilled trades supervisor at the V8 Engine plant. After retirement Frank enjoyed camping, woodworking and having lunches with his best friend Jerry Johnson. He very much enjoyed spending time around the campfire talking to everyone. His woodworking projects provided his family with beautiful artwork to adorn their homes.

However, Frank's greatest passion was his family. He and his beloved wife, Barbara "Barb" were married for over 60 years after being high school sweethearts. They have two adorning daughters, Lisa Crites-Estes (Alex) and Julie Hinojosa (Mark) that cherished the many family gatherings and fun times shared around the table. Frank also has two granddaughters that provided him his biggest light source, Alliondra Hinojosa and Autumn Estes. They adored their grandpa, and he relied on their presence to give him strength.

A private graveside service will be held to celebrate Frank's eternal life moving on. Arrangements were entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
