Frank David HEINZELMAN

February 29, 1936 — August 10, 2013

HEINZELMAN, Frank David - Age 77, of Fenton, died August 10, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, August 13 at the Lake Fenton United Methodist Church, 2581 N. Long Lake Rd., Fenton, Pastor Jeremy Peters officiating. Interment services 2 PM Tuesday at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 1-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, and 10 AM until the time of the funeral at the church on Tuesday . In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society, American Cancer Society, or charity of choice. Frank was born February 29, 1936 in Flint the son of Frank and Sarah (Kinney) Heinzelman. Frank married Patricia Loder on July 5, 1958 in Flint. He retired from Michigan Bell with many years of service. He was a faithful member of the Lake Fenton United Methodist Church. Frank loved bowling, golfing, and fishing, and all of the many friends he made doing these things. He loved animals. Surviving are wife of 55 years Patricia; two sons, Frank Jr. and wife Lora of Dallas TX, Steve and wife Karen of Saginaw; two grandsons, Chad, Mark and fiance Brittany Carlisle; multiple nieces and nephews; and special pets, Raja, Ruby, Ritzy, and Rhonda. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Beverly and Pat; and brother Richard. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
