Frank Arthur HEIT

Heit, Frank Arthur Sr. - Age 79, of Flint, died December 12, 2013. Funeral services will be held 1PM Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held 2PM - 8PM Monday and 11AM until time of service Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hurley-Genesys Cancer Research Center. Frank was born November 8, 1934 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Martin J. and Helen M. (Mock) Heit. Mr. Heit married Marjorie Wangler in Angola, Indiana on July 11, 1956. Frank served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He worked at Harold's Body Shop retiring in 1998. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and bingo. Frank was a past member of Genesee Sportsman Club, Scoutmaster for 5 years and member of Boy Scouts of America for 32 years, member of Davison VFW post 4087 and member of American Legion post #0225. Surviving are: wife, Marjorie of Flint; sons, Nicholas of TX, Frank Jr. of Burton, Bradley of Flint; daughter, Michelle Miller of TX; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Rose Lanter of Flint, Shirley (and husband Keith) Lanter of Flint; and many nieces and nephews.
