LUKOWSKI, Frank William - Age 82, of Fenton, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, May 23, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Frank's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Thursday from 4-8 PM; and at church Friday from 10 am until the time of Mass. A vigil service will be held 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home followed by a Knights of Columbus Memorial Service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Frank was born November 10, 1942 in Bay City, the son of Frank Joseph and Geraldine Angeline (Mish) Lukowski. He was a graduate of Bay City Visitation High School; and he received a Master's Degree in Administration from Central Michigan University. He married Joanne R. Taubert August 17, 1968 in Bay City. Frank retired in 2008 from Saginaw Township Community Schools as an Administrator. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where he was a Lector, Eucharistic Minister and was a volunteer and in charge of all funeral dinners. He also was a member and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Fenton Council #7418, Fenton Assembly #2031, board member of the Loose Senior Center in Linden and a member of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel. Frank was a sports fan and an avid University of Michigan Football fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially on Lake Fenton.
Surviving are: his wife, Joanne; children, Jodi (Wayne) Berry of Grand Blanc, Steven Lukowski of Fenton and Amy (Chris) Blair of Fenton; grandchildren, Kyle Willoughby of Flint, Luke (Elizabeth) Willoughby of Fenton, Ryan Lukowski of Fenton, Courtney Lukowski of Fenton, Anna Blair of Fenton and Kevin Blair of Fenton; sister, Monica (Bill) Hamann of Midland and sister-in-law Peggy (Ken) Lange of Bay City; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Geraldine Lukowski; In-laws, Donald and Marvel Taubert; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Donna Rigda; and nephew, Bryan Salgot. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
