WATSON, Frank Scott Caird - Age 83, of Flint, died Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at his residence. Celebration of life service will be held 6PM Monday, October 20, 2003 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 7234 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. Rev. Richard O. Walston officiating. Burial of cremains 4PM Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at Sunset Hills. Those desiring may make contributions to Holy Spirit Lutheran Church Building Fund. Mr. Watson was born March 17, 1920 in Stonehaven, Scotland, the son of Frank and Jane Reath (Caird) Watson. He was a 1938 graduate of Flint Northern High School and attended GMI, he also was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He married Gladys May Bryant June 2, 1945 in Flint. He retired from Consumers Energy in 1976 with 30 years service as a Distribution Supervisor and has resided in the Flint area most of his life. He was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, the V.F.W. Leo R. Crow Post #8236, was a former member of Industrial Executives Club, and Flint V.F.W. Post #822 where he had been Post Commander. Surviving are: wife, Gladys; 2 sons, Jeffrey Scott and wife Catherine of Grand Blanc and Bradley Jay and wife Laurie of Swartz Creek; 4 grandchildren, Michael and wife Jennifer of Grand Blanc, Marci of Fenton, Brian of Colorado, Melissa and husband Jeremy Mattson of Detroit; great-granddaughter, Miranda Leigh Watson; sister, Phyllis and husband James Lees of Aberdeen, Scotland; many nieces and nephews.
