Franklin Karhoff

KARHOFF, Franklin Bernard - Age 88, of Swartz Creek, died December 13, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 21, 2019 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek. Entombment will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of Mass Saturday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital. Franklin was born June 11, 1931 in Venice Center, MI, the son of Frank H. and Clara (Mershman) Karhoff. He married Mary Jean Cote on June 3, 1956; she preceded him in death on April 19, 2015. Mr. Karhoff was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from General Motors in 1993. He is survived by his children, Cindy (Brian) Boyd, Franklin Karhoff and Susan (Steve) Schaeffer; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents; son, David; brothers, Norbert, Donald, Eugene, Lloyd and Wayne. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
