Franklin Maestaz

Maestaz, Franklin Leroy - Age 82, of Burton, died January 23, 2019. A Masonic Memorial service will be held 6 PM Tuesday, February 5 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1811 Seymour Avenue, Flint, under the auspices of Otisville Lodge 401. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 PM Wednesday, February 6 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1811 Seymour Avenue, Flint, Fr. Phil Schmitter celebrant. Visitation will be 11 AM until the time of the mass on Wednesday, February 6. Committal service will be 2 PM February 7, 2019 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd, Holly. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Christ the King Catholic Church Food Pantry. Franklin was born August 22, 1936 the son of Frank D. and Adella (Garcia) Maestaz. He was a Tech Sargeant for the United States Air Force. Franklin married Patricia on August 12, 1959 in Price, UT. He owned Seeley's Auto Collision for 22 years before retiring in 1996. Franklin was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church and was also a Shriner. He is survived by his wife: Patricia; daughter: Frankie (Michael) Dolehanty; son: Brian Maestaz; 2 grandchildren: Shannon (Jeremy), and Stevie (Jason); 3 great-grandchildren: Veronica, Ava, and Jonas.
