Frederick "Fred" Reichstetter

Frederick "Fred" L. Reichstetter, age 66, of Morrice, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023. A  private Celebration of Life will be held for the family; they ask that you continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Fred will be laid to rest with his late wife, Barb, at Bell Oak Cemetery in Locke Township. Online condolences can be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.

Fred was born on January 13, 1957 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Leo & Marjorie Reichstetter. He graduated from Williamston High School in 1975.  He married the love of his life Barbara on December 19, 1975. Barbara preceded Fred April 2, 2023. Fred worked as a service technician in the dairy industry before employed as a technician with Pepsi. Fred was forced into an early retirement when diagnosed with cancer 2020. During his early retirement Fred and Barbara traveled Michigan. One of their favorite things to stop for was Fraternal Order of Eagles Club Houses. They were both life long members to the Williamston Fraternal Oder of Eagles where Fred served as a trustee and past president. In the earlier years he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his children and friends. Fred and Barb enjoyed their many travels on their side-by-side and joy rides on the golf cart. 

He is survived by his five children, Phillip Reichstetter, Catherine Reichstetter, Daniel Reichstetter, Ted (Bonnie) Reichstetter and Brad (Shay) Reichstetter; six grandchildren, Caitlyn,, Bailey, Theo, Tyler, Allison and Chase; his siblings, Randy, Linda, Mary, Theresa, Karl and Ruth. Frederick is further survived by many family members on his wife's side of the family, nieces, nephews and friends. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; sister, Alice and two brothers-in-law, Richard and Robert Tracey.
