Frederick Sieradzki

SIERADZKI, Frederick J. - age 89, of Fenton, passed away July 15, 2019. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Saturday, July 20 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Robert Copeland Celebrant. Visitation 4-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton; and 9:30 AM until the time of Mass Saturday at Church. A Scripture Service will also be held 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the St. John Chapel Building Fund.

Frederick was born January 19, 1930 in Detroit, the son of Frederick J., Sr. and Mary (Szelang) Sieradzki. He married Dolores Sniechowski in Detroit on July 26, 1952. Frederick was employed as a Sales Rep for many years with Campbell's Soup Company. He was a long time member of St. John Catholic Church, Fenton.  He was a member of St. John K of C Council 7418 and Fenton Assembly 2031 where he served as Tootsie Roll Captain. Frederick was among the first group of Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers at St. John. He also taught Middle School Catechism for seven years. Frederick also served as St. Vincent DePaul Chairman for 37 years. He was an accomplished accordion player having started the "West Enders Polka Band" at age 12. He frequently played at prayer groups and sing along's for seniors at St. John and various Group Homes for over 40 years.

Surviving are: wife, Dolores; children, Nicholas David (Lynn) Sieradzki, Alan A. (Dianna) Sieradzki, and Cynthia M. Smith; grandchildren, Ashley, Frederick IV, Sarah, Nick Jr., Nathanael, Alan A. Jr., Jessica, Ryan, Kyle, and Owen; and 9 great grandchildren.

Frederick was preceded in  death by : his parents; son, Frederick II, grandson, Justin; sisters, Sr. Teresita, and Esther. Online condolences may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
