Fredrick Pociask

Fredrick Pociask, age 88, of Fenton, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026. Cremation has taken place. Fred was born May 19th, 1938, the son of Stanley and Helen Pociask. He was a 1956 graduate of Cody High School in Detroit. After high school, he joined the Air Force from November 1956 until July of 1960, when he was honorably released from active duty. He married Patricia, his wife of 64 years, on January 20th, 1962. He retired from Eaton Corporation in 1999. Fred loved boating and fishing, wood working and building things with his grandson, Matthew. He also liked fixing things that were not fixable. Most of all, he loved his family and treasured the times he had with them. This includes many nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Pociask, daughter Rhonda Taylor, grandson, Matthew Burrill, son, Fredrick Pociask and daughter-in-law Juliana Pociask and daughter, Elyse Rossellini and his sister-in-law, Betty Simmons (who he loved very much). He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.
