PERRY, Gailen F. -- Age 86, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday June 26, 2013 at McLaren-Flint. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Friday, June 28 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Kevin Harbin officiating. Interment at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 5 - 8 PM Thursday, and 10 AM until the service on Friday. Gailen was born May 21, 1927 in Flint the son of Oliver and Sadie (Drewett) Perry. He married Eileen Shook January 15, 1965 in Flint, she preceded him in death March 23, 2000. Gailen was a life long resident of Flint and Swartz Creek, graduating from Flint Northern High School in 1945. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Complete Auto Transit in 1987 and was a member of Teamsters Local 332. He was a member of the Swartz Creek United Methodist Church.
