Gale Vern Foreman

Gale Vern Foreman passed away on Monday, August 3, surrounded by the love of his family.  He was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness, sense of humor, and love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Gale was the beloved son of Rex Arlington Foreman and Amelia Maria Foreman, who preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his sister Joanne.

He leaves behind his loving children: Scott Foreman (Martha Foreman), Tom Foreman (fiancé Karen Mitchell), and Kelly Foreman-Rosalez (Benny Rosalez).  He was a proud grandfather to Cody Foreman (fiancé Mallory, and her children Grayson and Sophia), Autumn Spencer (Jacob Spencer), Emily Beale (Matt Beale), and Sean Rosalez (Hoa Rosalez) and their children Everly and Sylvie.  His grandchildren meant the world to him, and he cherished every opportunity to spend time with them.

Gale was born and raised in Owosso but spent most of his life in the Flint area.  He retired from General Motors in 2002.

In his younger years he loved playing sports, hunting and fishing.  Gale had a lifelong love of baseball and football and loved watching the Tigers and Lions.  Whether it was watching sports or spending time with his family, he found happiness in life's simple moments.

He will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, quick wit, and his ability to make those around him laugh.  Above all, Gale was a devoted family man whose greatest joy came from being surrounded by the people he loved.

His legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 at 11:00am at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel in Swartz Creek.  There will be visitation from 9:00 am until time of the service.
