Gary Abdella

ABDELLA, Gary David "Abby" - Age 68, of Fenton, left to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ on August 21, 2015. Funeral services will be held 4 PM Friday, August 28, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton with Rev. Don Dennis officiating. Visitation will be held 1 PM until the time of service on Friday. Gary was born September 4, 1946 in Flint, the son of Edward and Doris (Juers) Abdella. He was a graduate of Kearsley High School. Gary served in the U.S. Army & Army Reserves. He retired from General Motors after 33 years of service where he was active in the U.A.W. and served as a committeeman. Gary also owned his own e-bay business, Automobilia, selling General Motors and automobile memorabilia. Surviving are: beloved daughter, April (Timothy) Pearsall of Chelsea; siblings, Phyllis Lucy of Goodrich, Peggy (Bill) Longstreth of FL, Carol (Keith "Bucky") Alder of Fenton; Samuel Edward (Arlis) Abdella of Davison, several nieces and nephews; best friend Ken "the King" and his son, Paul; Lady Friend, Jo; and his beloved dog, Molly.
