Erway, Gary Jay - Age 62, of Flint, died Sunday, August 10, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1PM Friday, August 15, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Todd Meece Officiating. Visitation will be held 1PM - 8PM Thursday and 11AM until time of service Friday. Gary was born in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Albert and Erma (Bows) Erway. He married Kathy Canfield in Flint, Michigan on December 8, 1978. Gary enjoyed fishing, gardening and tinkering with cars. Surviving are: wife, Kathy Erway of Flint; children, son Gary William Erway of Lansing, Heidi Marie Erway of Flint, Matthew Ryan Erway of Flint, Jeffrey Allen Erway of Flint, Jody Lynn (Brian) Morse of Bay City, Jay Nealson Erway of Ohio; 8 grandchildren; 2 sisters; 7 brothers and many nieces and nephews.
