Mahoney, Gary Paul -- Age 50, of Fenton, died July 5, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, July 10, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Pastor Dean Dumbrille officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 9-11 AM Monday. Gary was born March 25, 1967 in Flint the son of Daniel and Marsha (Elowsky) Mahoney. He was a graduate of Fenton High School. He worked as a painter. He loved to hunt and fish. Gary is survived by: his children, Mariah Mahoney, Garritt Mahoney, and Hannah Mahoney; two grandchildren; mother and step-father Marsha and Charles Young of Fenton; biological father, Gary Scherer; siblings, Tammy Spiola, Timothy Mahoney, Bernadette Hopkins, Otto Mahoney, Trish Mahoney, Danny Mahoney, Chuck Young, Paul Young, Patrick Young, Jill Sayre; several nieces and nephews.
