POOLE, Gary Glen - Age 78, of Fenton, died Sunday, December 23, 2012. Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial in Oakhill Cemetery, Pontiac. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of one's choice. Gary was born October 22, 1934 in Ashville, NC, the son of William C. and Thelma E. (Haney) Poole. He married Margaret Leckner in 1961 and she preceded him in death December 14, 1975, he than married Tina Marie Heron December 16, 1988 and she preceded him in death May 7, 2012. He had resided in Fenton for the past 3 years coming from Ferndale. He retired from Gage Products in Ferndale after 23 years of service. Gary enjoyed dining out, writing, classic movies, and was an avid boxing fan. Surviving are: 4 children, Darlene and husband Stephen Quarrella of Grand Blanc, Colleen Kazmierczak of Ferndale, August Poole of Pleasant Ridge, and Jennifer Heron of Warren; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
