Gaylon Glasgow

GLASGOW, Gaylon "Dale" - Age 73, of Durand, died January 6, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, January 9 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Rev. Bernard Tyler officiating. Visitation will be held 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Thursday, 10-11 AM Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the U of M Melanoma Clinic, 1500 E. Medical Center Dr., SPC 5902, Cancer Center Floor 1, Ann Arbor MI 48109. Gaylon was born January 16, 1941 in Flint, the son of Grover and Nina (Nixon) Glasgow. He married Theresa Tyler in Flint on December 30, 1961. Dale retired from General Motors V-8 Engine Plant in 1994. He enjoyed his family and golfing. Surviving are: wife, Theresa Glasgow of Durand; children, Dawn (Mike) Thompson of Bancroft, Tim (Deb) Glasgow of Bancroft, Carrie (Darrell) Letourneau of Fenton, Mike (Melissa) Glasgow of Otisville; four granddaughters, Maria (Dan), Kallie, Julia, Abigail; brother, Craig (Pat) Glasgow of Downer Grove, IL; several nieces and nephews.
