"General" David Roy Anthony Linder

LINDER, "General" David Roy Anthony Linder, age 60 of Durand, went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2023.  Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a future date.  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of the General to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org)

David Roy Anthony Linder was born on February 27, 1963 in Flint, Michigan to the late David and Phyllis (Gregory) Linder.  He graduated from Durand High School and received his Associates Degree from Mott Community College.  David is a Hall of Fame member of the Michigan Wrestling Organization (MWO) and was a big fan of the Flint Generals and Firebirds.  He was an avid golfer, bowled with his team; "The Opinions, and he enjoyed Classic Rock...especially KISS.

He is survived by his son, Jacob (Mary) Linder of Lansing.  Jacob's mom, Wendy (Bill) Gold of Flint.  Sister, Vickie Linder of Lapeer. Also surviving are other extended family and many friends.

The General was preceded in death by his parents and many dear friends.
