CADY, Genevieve Alice, age 94, of Clayton Twp., passed away, Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Willowbrook Manor. Funeral services will be held 12:00PM Friday July 27, 2012 at North Flushing Baptist Church, 7500 W. Mt. Morris Road, Flushing. Pastor Dale Lewis officiating. Burial at Flint Memorial Park following the services. Visitation will be held 2:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Rd. Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, and 11:00AM until time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to North Flushing Baptist Church, or to the Genesee County Humane Society. Mrs. Cady was born July 13, 1918 in Flint, the daughter of the late Clyde Alton and Pearl Myrtle (Griffin) Kinney. She married Leonard Edward Cady December 1, 1938 in Flint he preceded her in death December 1, 1944. Genevieve enjoyed crocheting, knitting and cooking. She worked for A.C. Spark Plug for several years and retired from Ross Automotive Sales with 20 years of service. Surviving are: daughter, Carol (Wilmer) Gray of Flushing; son, Dennis Cady of Flushing; 7 grandchildren, Danny Gray, Sheri McPherson, Lisa Isaac, Michele Gray, Scott Gray, Monica Cady and Jason Cady; 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death also by 3 sisters, Loveria Burrows, Marcella McGinnis and Virginia Monroe; brother Alton Kinney.
