George Coon, Jr.

COON, George Bert Jr. - Age 88, of Linden, died August 12, 2020. Visitation will be held 11-2 PM Sunday, August 16 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Burial will be 10:30AM Wednesday, August 19 at Great Lakes National Cemetery. George was born December 30, 1931 in Corunna, the son of George Bert and Pauline Elsie (Randall) Coon. George worked as a Pipefitter for over 55 years. He was an avid Euchre player and enjoyed traveling, especially on cruises. He is survived by his wife, Judie; children, Steven (Marie) Coon, Ronald (Dovie) Coon, Dennis (Teodora) Coon, Valerie (Jerry) Krueger, Larry Coon, Bill Coon, Michael (Kim) Coon, Princess (Dan) Haas, Thomas (Irene) Coon, Casey Coon and Sandy Coon; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Rightmyer. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Skip Coon, Jerry Coon and Corky Cote; sisters, Ardith Leckrone and Edith Cote.
