George Stevenson HOGAN

HOGAN, George Stevenson- Age 86, of Gaines, died November 20, 2013. Services will be announced in the Spring of 2014 to be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. George born April 6, 1927 at home in Lennon the son of Leo B and Ella Mae (Stevenson) Hogan. He was a graduate of Durand High School and attended MSU. He was a veteran of the US Army/Air Force. George retired from GM early with 32 years of service to care for his invalid mother. He was a member of the Lions Club of Gaines, and was a lifelong member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gaines. Surviving are: brother Jim Hogan of Flushing; sister Mary Ellen and husband Robert Gould of Swartz Creek; a nephew and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by parents; and brother Leo B. Hogan.
