Parker, George John- Age 76, of Grand Blanc, passed away March 29, 2025 at his residence. A Celebration of Life and Memory sharing will be held 2-6 PM Saturday June 7, 2025 at 7097 Burpee Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan. During that time a small service will be held at 2:30 PM. RSVP Pat via Facebook Messenger by May 30. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton.
George was born January 22, 1949 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Daniel and Elva (Ward) Parker. He was a graduate of Birch Run High School. He married Patricia Blodgett on September 19, 1981. They had owned and operated Burton Heating and Cooling. He later worked as an estimator for S&Z Sheetmetal, then Goyette Mechanical where he retired. He loved fishing from his boat and golfing. He enjoyed Tennis and Racquetball in earlier years. He enjoyed camping trips with family and friends, and most of all loved time with his seven grandchildren.
Surviving are: his wife of 43 years, Patricia; children, Justin (Kristy) McLachlan, Elizabeth (Nicholas) Stockwell; grandchildren, Kayla Stockwell, Griffin McLachlan, MaKenna Stockwell, Brodey McLachlan, Jenna Stockwell, Piper Stockwell, and Levi McLachlan; two siblings, Debra (Jay) Lanphear, Robert (Cynthia) Parker; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Yvonne Higgins; and brothers, Douglas Parker and Bruce Parker.
