George Petkoff

PETKOFF, George Keith - Age 68, of Flint, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint with Chaplain Goodman Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 8 PM Tuesday and from 1 PM until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. George retired from General Motors. He worked for 32 years at "Chevy in the hole". He was very involved with Local 659. George was born in Flint, the son of the late George and Louise Petkoff. He married Susanne Klida on July 23, 1965. They just celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. Surviving are his wife, Suzanne; daughters, Dina (Mike) Simpson and Kathlene (Darryl) Baning; grandchildren, Dustin, Amanda, Katelyn and Breanna.
