Georgia "Louise" Werden

Georgia "Louise" Werden - age 88 of Burton, went home to her heavenly Father on May 30, 2026. The family will receive guests at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Swartz Creek Chapel located at 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Michigan 48473. A graveside service will follow at Mt. Morris Cemetery. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in Louise's memory to the Salvation Army.

Louise was born on June 24, 1937 in Tiptonville, Tennessee to the late George Washington and Delphia Lucille (Fowler) Edington. She was married to the late Reverend Don Werden and together they served the Lord as Evangelists, traveling to many different places.

Surviving are her children, David (Debbie) Baize; Pattie (Ron) Leger; Pamela Morningstar; Peggy (Burch) Martin; Don (Wendy) Werden; Mari (Danny) Anderson. Sister, Glenda (Curtis) Holcomb. Niece, Linda (Jim) Stornello. Also surviving are 37 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; children, Alicia Ward, Teresa Frost & Rita Sutherland; siblings, Delphia Patterson; Earline Carwile & George Edington.
