Gerald Lee Dickenson

Dickenson, Gerald Lee "Jerry" Age 84, of Flint, passed away February 14, 2026.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, March 2, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc, Michigan 48507. Visitation will be held 2-7 PM Sunday, March 1 and 10 AM Monday, March 2 until the time of the service at the funeral home. Committal service will be held 1 PM Monday, March 2, 2026 at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd. Holly.

Jerry was born April 18, 1941 in Flint, the son of Ralph and Violet (Ridley) Dickenson. He was a Flint Northern High School graduate and also attended Mott Community College. Jerry proudly served his country in The United States Navy. He retired as Deputy Chief of The City of Flint Police Department. Jerry had 38 years of service with the City of Flint. He worked for Premier Security after retirement. Jerry loved golf, bowling and music. He is survived by his two sons, Ralph Dickenson, Ty Dickenson; grandchildren, Michael (McKenna) Dickenson, AJ. (Audrey) Dickenson; great-grandchildren, Anastasia and Adrian, one on the way due in May, Evelynn; brother, Alan Dickenson Sr.; several nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Don and Norm Dickenson; sister, Delores Davis.
