Gerald I. Landes, Sr.

Landes, Gerald I. Sr.- Age 78, of Clio, died Monday, December 15, 2003 at Maple Woods Manor.  A memorial services will be held at an later date.  Mr. Landes was born October 5, 1925 in Lansing, the son of Norville and Ethel (Coon) Landes.  He married Betty Ruth Jensen April 28, 1945 in Howard City and had resided in Clio since 1955. He retired from the Carpenter's Union Local 1373. Surviving are:  wife, Betty Ruth; 4 children, Russell (Janet) of Ludington, Norva (Mike) Blumenfeld  of California, Linda (Glenn) Walther of Clio, Gerald, Jr (Jennifer) of Clio; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Norville (Vivian) of Montrose.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Russell.  Friends may share their online condolences for the family at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
