Gerald Irving Nippa

Nippa, Gerald Irving - Age 89, of Flint Township, died May 30, 2026. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan, 48507. Those desiring may make contributions to Harmony Baptist Church.

Gerald was born December 27, 1936 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Irving J. Nippa and AraBelle F. (Dunham) Nippa . He was a graduate of Howell High School and attended Mott Community College. He married Englantina "Tina" Recio on September 17, 1994. He worked at General Motors with 36 years of service retiring in 1991. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Surviving are: wife of 31 years, Tina; children, David Nippa, Jeff Nippa, Marie Bower, Antonio (Kara) Rodriguez; grandson, Luis Rodriguez; special nieces, Savanna, Lilyana, and Kensley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving and Arabelle Nippa; son, Mark Nippa; grandson, Nathan Nippa; and sister, Barbara Young.
