SCOTT, Gerald "Jerry" Ray - Age 63, of Burton, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1PM, Friday, March 13, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Fr. Jay Gantz Officiating. Visitation will be held 3PM - 8PM Thursday and 11AM until time of service Friday. Jerry was born on March 20, 1951 in Prineville, OR , the son of the late Alfred R. and Maude M. (Drew) Scott. He married Joanne R. Hannafius on April 14, 2001 in Burton, MI. Mr. Scott enjoyed going to the casino, computer games, western movies, his dogs, and was never at a loss for words. Jerry retired form General Motors plant 36 with 36.5 years. Surviving are: wife, Joanne of Burton; children, Mark Scott of Mt.Morris, Ann Scott of FL, Alfred Russell Scott II of FL, Rebecca Scott of NC; step-children, Michael (Crystal) Kenny of Port Huron, Paul (Christina) Kenny of Mt.Morris; 12 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; brothers, Donald (Carol) Scott of Flint, Neil (Debbie) Scott of Melvin, MI, Glen Scott of Flint; sister, Ruth Perry of TN; many nieces and nephews.
