Gerald Raymond "Jerry" Walker

WALKER, Gerald Raymond "Jerry" - Age 87, of Swartz Creek, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025. Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Jerry's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Scott Salo officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.

Jerry was born April 18, 1938 in Flint, the son of Charles and Vera (Kuhl) Walker. He was a 1956 graduate of Flint Tech High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had resided in the Flint area his entire life. Jerry retired in 1983 from Frito-lay after 20 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, smoking ribs and brisket and traveling with Mary Lou.

Surviving are: his daughters, Angela (Brad) Morey of Davison and Amy (Andrew) Wykes of Flushing; grandchildren, Paul Millon of Flint, Rachael (Dani Myer) Millon of Las Vegas, NV, Eric Granger of Flint, Nicholas (Char) Granger of St. Charles, Adam Granger of Flint, William Wykes of Flushing and Harrison Wykes of Flushing; great grandchildren, Jenna, Aries and Avery and son-in-law, Brian Granger of Flint.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Vera Walker; daughter, Anita Granger; great grandson, Gavin; longtime companion, Mary Lou Shultis; and cousins, Wayne and Sylvia Neal.
