Geraldine Hayes

HAYES, Geraldine "Gerry" - Age 84, of Fenton, died Monday, September 8, 2014. Private family services were held last week. Services were handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Gerry was born August 13, 1930 in Flint, the daughter of Thomas and Gertrude (White) Kidd. She married William Hayes on August 23, 1958 in Nashville, Tennessee. Gerry retired from AC Spark Plug with over 30 years of service. She loved flower gardening, crafts, quilting, and most of all, her grandchildren. Surviving are: beloved husband, William; 5 children, Linda (Joseph) Ruhlig of Farwell, Denise Vescovi of Flint, Jerilee (Mark) Monaghan of Ida, Suzanne (Larry) Jones of Grand Blanc, and Wendy (Jonathan) Zobl of Superior Township; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
