Gerard Wojcik

WOJCIK, Gerard J. "Gerry"-Age 69 of Haslett formerly of Redford, died January 7, 2017. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Friday January 13, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Gerry was born December 14, 1947 in Detroit, the son of John and Odette (Roques) Wojcik. He married Linda S. Thornton in Redford on April 25, 1969. Gerry served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War. He was employed as a Supply Manager for Michigan National Bank. Gerry was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed collecting Baseball cards. He is survived by his wife, Linda; children; Tim Wojcik, Karen (Scott) Snow and John Wojcik; six grandchildren; Nathan, Steven, Morgan, Amber, Lorenzo, and Justice; mother, Odette Wojcik; brother, Greg Wojcik; sister, Suzanne (Mike) Schmidt; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
