Glenn Groom

GROOM, Glenn Robert - Age 59, of Byron, passed away June 12, 2023. Services will be held 7PM Friday, June 23, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. The family will receive friends from 5PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Absolute Hospice. Glenn was born January 30, 1964 in Durand, the son of Robert Joseph “RJ” and Juanita “Windy” (Herron) Groom. He was a member of Byron High School Class of 1982. Glenn was a jack of all trades. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He is survived by his children, Jennifer Groom, Betsy (Chad) Ballast and Joe (Jenna) Groom; grandchildren, Gabe Lynch, Abby Lynch, Matthew Garland, Zachary Ahner, Adrienne Groom and RJ Groom; father, RJ Groom; sister, Cheryl (Randy) Nekola; nephew, Nathan (Sadie) Miller; niece, Keri (Jason) Masse; loving companion, Maryln McPhee and her daughters and sisters; uncle, Dick (Judy) Herron; aunt, AnnaMae (Chuck) Pasco and many cousins.
