Gordon Lawson

LAWSON, Gordon Lewis - age 92, of Flint, died Saturday, March 11, 2017. Committal services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, March 17 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Gordon was born July 8, 1924 in Rochester, the son of Lewis and Della (Gray) Lawson. He worked for General Motors Chevrolet for 30 years before retiring in 1975. Gordon was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corp. serving in WW II. He was a lifelong member of the V.F.W. Post 3087. He is survived by his wife, Elnora Lawson of Flint; children, Robert A. Lawson of Flint, Janet (Mark) Klein of Flushing; grandchildren, Rory Lawson of Flint, Jenna (Joe) Duplanty of New York, Marissa Klein of Flushing, Robert M.
