EIDSON, Grady Lee, - Age 61 of Prescott, MI died at home, Sunday, January 25, 2004. Â Mr. Eidson was born in Waynesboro, Mississippi the son of LeRoy and Lettie (Hollingsworth) Eidson. Â He and Shirley Little were married on April 17, 1976 in Fenton. Â Grady lived in Jones and Wayne Counties in Mississippi and was a graduate of Beat Four High School. Â After graduation he left for Flint and went to work for General Motors for 30 years and was known as 'Mississippi'. Â He retired in 1992. Â He belonged to the Arenac Sportsmen's Club and the U.A.W. Local #659. Â Grady was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Â Surviving is his wife Shirley: 2 daughters; Tammy Harmon and husband Thomas of Grand Blanc and Debra Ann Eidson; 4 sons; James LeRoy Eidson of Fenton, Earl James Eidson of Indian Rocks Beach, Florida, William Michael Eidson and wife Sandra of Grand Blanc and Vechem Elvis Canamore of Flint. Â Also surviving are 7 grandchildren; Vaughn Justin Canamore, Katrina Ann Canamore, Anthony James Harmon, Jr., Tyler Austin Eidson, Alexis Marie Eidson and Dylan Shane Eidson and Joey Stiple. Â 2 Brothers: Roy Wilson Eidson of Albertville, Alabama and Walter Lee Eidson of Shubuta, Mississippi. Â 1 Sister, Ann Eidson Wilson of Columbus, Georgia, a special sister-in-law Sue Eidson and several nieces and nephews. Â Grady was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Luther Eidson and a brother-in-law Wayne Wilson. Â Services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, January 29, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6036 Fenton Rd. (Just south of Hill Rd.) Rick Truesdail will officiate. Â Cremation will follow. Â The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until service time. Â In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Helping Hands in Ogemaw County.
