Grant Love

LOVE, Grant Robert- Age 68, of Durand, died July 17, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, July 20 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Lawrence Gill officiating. Visitation to take place 5-8 PM Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Carriage Town Ministries of Flint, 605 Garland St., Flint. Grant was born November 15, 1948 in Brantford, Ontario the son of George and Lois (Bergey) Love. He married Mary K. Montgomery in Flint on July 26, 1969. He was a graduate of Mott Community College. Grant was the owner of Love Brothers Construction in Durand. He spent his winters in Frostproof, Florida and enjoyed playing Euchre, Poker, golfing , fishing, camping, creative wood working, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary; siblings, Sherry Bachman, George (Sally) Love, Wendy (Bob) Meldrum; many loving nieces and nephews.
