Matthews, Grant L. - Age 69 of Byron, died May 2, 2018. Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel 209 E. Broad Street, Linden. Visitation will be held from 11AM until time of the service. Grant was born on June 2, 1948, the son of Claude and Rita (Snider) Matthews. He married Lori L. Morris on July 1, 1991 in Howell. He was employed with Ford Motor Company for 29 years. He was a member of the UAW and enjoyed fishing, camping and canoeing. Surviving are wife, Lori; children, Heidi Sampson and Hillary Matthews; grandchildren, Reid Williams and Zoli Sampson; siblings, Gary (Teresa) Matthews, Jennifer (Kendal) Krause, and Gil (Julie) Matthews.
