McBRIDE, H. Kent - Age 67, of Grand Blanc, died Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Services will be held 12:00 PM Monday, December 1, 2014 at Fenton Church of the Nazarene, 11075 Runyan Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Robert Sargent officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contribution to the H. Kent McBride Memorial Fund. Kent was born November 8, 1947 in Flint the son of Glen V. and Olive Bernice (Byers) McBride. He was a 1965 graduate of Linden High School. He married Shiela Sargent June 30, 1990 in Mundy Township. He worked for the Flint Journal delivering paper for more than 30 years. Kent enjoyed golfing, music, his GTO and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are: his wife, Shiela; 2 daughters, Kelly Dues and husband Scott of Byron and Wendy McBride and Craig Washburn of Swartz Creek; step daughters, Tracie Renkiewicz of Detroit and Robin Mikkola and husband Bob of Burton; step son, Teddy Renkiewicz of Texas; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Adele Lougheed and husband James of Flint, Delores Conroy of Swartz Creek, and Gail McNew and husband Jerry of Idaho; and several nieces and nephews.
