DeLISLE, Hannah Lee (Elmore) - Age 71, of Fenton, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at St. Jude's Episcopal Church, 106 E. Elizabeth St, Fenton. Pastor Josh Hoover officiating. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Sunday and Monday from 4-8 PM. A Sharing service will be held at the funeral home 7:00 PM Monday. Her cremated remains will be interred in the memorial garden at St. Jude's Episcopal Church and will be placed in the columbarium at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to Genesee County Humane Society, Relay For Life, or St. Jude's Episcopal Church Furnace Fund. Hannah was born February 8, 1942 in Flint, the daughter of Lester "Bud" and Josephine M. (Mikols) Elmore. She was a 1960 graduate of Fenton High School and had attended Eastern Michigan University. She married Stanley Henry DeLisle December 19, 1970 at St. Jude's Episcopal Church in Fenton. Hannah had taught school for Lake Fenton Community School. She then worked for and retired from the Social Security office in Flint. She was a life member of St. Jude's Episcopal Church in Fenton. She also was a member of N.A.R.F.E. and was the secretary of the Fenton Alumni Association. She had resided her entire life on Lake Ponemah. Surviving are: husband, Stanley; daughter, Laura and husband Rod Bentz of Fenton; grandson, Rex Henry; 2 step children, Sherry DeLisle of Sterling Heights and Jerry DeLisle of Hazel Park; step grandchildren, Michael and John DeLisle and Cameron and Karsen Bentz; 2 sisters, Mary Elmore and husband Chris Kole of Seattle, WA and Nancy and husband Lester Jones of Fenton; brother, Joseph Elmore of Linden; sister-in-law, Mary and husband Dave Mains of Florida; special nieces, Lucy and Josie Foguth. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Martha Simpson; and niece, Joanna Foguth. Online tributes may be posted on the obituaries page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
