Hannah Geraldine 'Geri' Hungerford

Hungerford, Hannah Geraldine 'Geri' (Artibee) -- Age 97, of West Branch formerly of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at Medilodge in Sterling.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, August 21, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes; Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  Pastor J.D. Landis officiating.  Burial in Bristol Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6-9 PM Saturday, 1-4 and 6-9 PM Sunday.  Those desiring may make contributions to Southern Care Hospice, 6272 State St, Saginaw, MI  48603.  Mrs. Hungerford was born December 2, 1908 in Swartz Creek, the daughter of John and Laura (Burton)Spillane.  She married Arthur Harold Artibee and he preceded her in death October 7, 1969, she than married Nelson Hungerford and he preceded her in death August 7, 1981.  She was a self employed Drapery Seamstress for 25 years.  She was a member of Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Teamsters #332 Affiliate, Mari-Dan Miller Association and a former member of the Rebecca Lodge.  She also bowled in the Stop and Goers League at Town & Country Bowling Lanes.  She is survived by: 3 children, Sharon L. and husband Leonard Arden of West Branch, Jack M. and wife Shirley Artibee of Swartz Creek, Alan H. Artibee of West Branch; 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Kay A.
